NEW NEWS

Hello and thank you so much for checking with the updates. We’ve had to focus all our energy on a special project of late, and that’s the Greatest American Hero 25th Anniversary Retrospective which we taped with five cameras and it was hosted by John Tesh, and featured Stephen J. Cannell, Robert Culp, Connie Sellecca, Michael Pare,  Mike Post and the amazing alumni behind the show. It was a magical night and a historic one at that! We sat and talked for over 3 hours and John Tesh is the “man”. He was an amazing host and the stories were engaging and fresh. It was just too damn fun and we can’t wait to get this show out to everyone. We will keep you update as we change our website in the next week!

In Sparks news, issue 4 comes out Oct 1st. There was a week delay with our printing company and to be as honest as possible, we didn’t want to pay $550.00 for Fed Ex by one week to get it our prior after they had the book for printing for over a month and lost some paper work on how many issues were going directly to Diamond and to our home office. We just got the issue delivered to our office and it looks amazing though!

We’ve been very fortunate of late to get some amazing interviews in AICN, Geek Monthly,  Comics and Other Imaginary Tales and even the Los Angeles Times and other wonderful print and online.

Here’s an interview that just came out today with Chris that’s about as honest as one can get at our friends Comics and Other Imaginary Tales.

Mythology Wars is on track by the way for 2009 and we are working overtime to get GAH in a place that will be great.

Thank you so much for checking in and we wish you and your family well.

Best,

William Katt

The Greatest American Hero 25th Anniversary Retrospective -This Sunday Sept 7th

First off, apologizes for the lack of updates, we’ve been working hard on preparing for Sunday, September 7th, 2008 historic evening to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Greatest American Hero.

Our gracious host will be John Tesh and our guest for the evening are true icons and they include Stephen J. Cannell, Robert Culp, Connie Sellecca, Michael Pare’, Mike Post, Frank Lupo,Chuck Bowman,
Jo Swerling Jr, Alex Beaton, Dennis “Danger” Madelone and a video taped appearance by Rod Holcomb.

This all started in Stephen’s office when we asked if he would mind coming to Las Vegas with the cast to promote the comic book at the retailers convention. However, things didn’t work out with Diamond and we were like “Okay, we’ve got all these fantastic people, let’s move it to Los Angeles and tape the event.”

And bam, that’s where we are at!

I’m beyond excited for the event, not just to catch up with dear friends, however, the opportunity to have all these icons in one room, it’s a true blessing.

We will be posting photos from the event after Sunday.

Again, this is a once in a lifetime event and I’m glad to see it happening in my lifetime.

We got the official news this week and we hope it doesn’t kill the readership. We’ve worked really hard to get each book ahead of the printers so folks can get it on time.

Interview with Sparks writer and the most shallow human being I know!

Wow, Chris Folino you’re a tool! This interview made me laugh and you’re shameless with your promotion of Gamers The Movie, it’s inspiring to no one! Read this funny interview.

Here’s my favorite highlight from it!

Richard: What do you do with any free time you have?

Christopher: I write Sparks and wash all of Bill’s twenty five cars and I also do his laundry and once month, I have to prepare and feed him fugu fish dressed in the Greatest American Hero outfit. Sure, it’s creepy as hell, but, I’m getting a comic book made.
