Catastrophic Comics is proud to announce that actor Michael Paré from Eddie and the Crusiers, The Philladelphia Experiment and Blood Rayne has voiced the character of Sparks for a new media experience to be announced shortly.

“We just got back from the studio where Michael, William Katt, Michael Bell, Courtney Taylor, Charlie Brill, Marc Graue, Scott Allen Rinker, Ashley Bell brought Sparks to life with their incredible voices for  and it was beyond awesome”commented Sparks writer/co-creator, Christopher Folino.  “I know Bill, JM Ringuet and myself are all beyond thrilled to have Michael Paré voice Sparks, he’s one of the coolest actors I’ve ever met and he brought something really special to Sparks, his voice is both powerful and just kick ass and he hit the dark notes pitch perfect, remaked Folino.

We will announce very shortly what is happening with Sparks.

For now, rest assure Sparks has a voice and it’s a damn good one with Michael Paré.

Issue 1 of The Greatest American Hero will arrive in all stores on December 10th, signed issues will be a little later.

The delay for issue 1 was a mistake on a caption and we had to stop it from the printer and fix it.

We feel horrible, however, we are very proud of this first issue and the new take on the GAH.

We have a few more surprises in store for GAH that we will announce later this week.

The 25th Anniversary Special show that we taped early is alive and well and is in the final stages of editing.

We can’t at this time give any information out on the animated series, due, to a surprise media project we are working on for GAH.
